Crooked Thumb Brewery is teaming up with Northwestern Mutual of Clearwater to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. Friday, September 15th, between 4-7pm, proceeds from beverages will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand. An appetizer bar along with raffle and games will be available for a donation of $20 or more.

Alexandra “Alex” Scott was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer. Alex held her first childhood cancer fundraiser in her front yard and raised over $2,000. By the time of her death in 2004, Alex raised $1 million and inspired a legacy of hope and cures for childhood cancer. Alex believed that every child with cancer deserves to have treatments and a cure.
